Accessibility statement
This statement covers the German and English versions of ravespace.io, the website of RAVE.SPACE GmbH. It describes how accessible the website is, where limitations remain and how to reach us if you come across a barrier.
Benchmark
We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The European standard EN 301 549 requires the same level for websites.
Compliance status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. The exceptions are listed below under “Known limitations”.
What is in place
Links, navigation, forms and the cookie banner can be operated with a keyboard, and the keyboard focus is visible.
A “Skip to content” link bypasses the navigation and goes straight to the content.
Images have text alternatives; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
Embedded content such as videos and 3D demos has a title that screen readers announce.
Text on a plain background meets the level AA contrast requirements.
The layout adapts to narrow screens and strong magnification without horizontal scrolling.
Every page declares its language, so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
The logo ticker on the home page can be paused.
Known limitations
Videos without a pause control: On several pages, short silent videos play automatically in a loop. Most of them cannot be paused yet (WCAG 2.2.2).
Videos without a text version: Some videos show content only visually. Not all of them have an equivalent text description (WCAG 1.2.1).
3D demos and interactive applications: Embedded 3D viewers, Gaussian Splatting scenes, game demos and the avatar demo run as separate applications. They cannot be used, or can only partly be used, with a keyboard or screen reader. The text on each page also describes what they show.
Text over images and videos: Where text sits on top of an image or video, its contrast cannot be measured automatically. Not all of these places have been checked by hand yet.
Content from other publishers: Older blog posts link to PDF documents from other publishers whose accessibility we have not checked. Embedded YouTube videos use YouTube's player, which we cannot adapt.
How we tested
This statement is based on a self-assessment. On 3 November 2026 we ran automated axe-core tests against WCAG 2.1 A and AA on 21 pages in German and English, with no violations found. We also tested keyboard operation and, on 6 November, the layout at 320 pixels width. Automated tests only cover part of the requirements, so we list the points above as limitations until they have been checked by hand or fixed.

Date of this statement
Prepared on 6 November 2026. We update this statement when we fix limitations or make substantial changes to the website.
