AVATAR STUDIO

The avatar creator for your application

Participants build their own avatar in the browser, from their own photo if they want. GDPR-compliant on German servers in Frankfurt, or on-premise if you prefer.

Avatar Studio is the creator participants use to build their own avatar for a 3D world, in training, at trade fairs, during onboarding and at events. For a talking AI avatar that answers questions on your website, see Digital Humans.

From a photo

The face is measured, not invented

Participants take one photo or a few, and the creator shapes the avatar's face from them. No generative model guesses what someone looks like. Photos from the webcam or an upload never leave the device, and photos taken on a phone pass through our relay without being stored.

Everything but the face stays editable

Body type, face, hair, glasses and clothing come from a catalogue participants work through in the browser. Six avatars out of it, exported by the creator itself.

Capabilities
01

GDPR-compliant on German servers

Avatar Studio runs on servers in Frankfurt and your contract is with a German company. On request it runs inside your own environment or fully on-premise. So when your IT asks where the data sits, the answer is short.

02

Their own face, without a photo archive

Participants can build their face from their own photos. The processing happens in the browser and our relay does not store the photos, so you never end up holding a collection of face images.

03

In the browser, no install

The creator is embedded into your application through an iframe and opens in the browser. Participants need no app and no account, and they can take the photo with their own phone.

04

The avatar stays yours, as a GLB

Every avatar leaves the system as a GLB. You are not tied to a runtime of ours and can use the file in any engine, including the day you carry on without us.

05

Many characters in one scene

One draw call per avatar. The RAVE ENGINE carries up to 50 detailed and up to 500 instanced avatars at the same time, so a well attended event still runs smoothly.

06

White label as well

For agencies and event companies Avatar Studio runs under their own name, with their own colours and their own logo. To your clients it is your tool.

The creator

What participants see

The interface they work in, recorded as it runs. Body type first, then face, hair, glasses and clothing, and the photo step wherever they want it.

From photo to avatar, recorded in the running creator. 27 seconds in real time.

Technology

Light enough for the browser, and for crowds

Every avatar leaves the system as a single GLB: one mesh, one texture sheet, one draw call. It loads in three.js or in anything else that reads glTF.

One iframe, no SDK

When a participant saves, your page receives the finished avatar as a message: the URL of the GLB, the body type and a preview image.
